Tips for Securing a Quote Quickly
We always strive to provide you with the highest level of service. The following tips will assist us in securing a quote for your Client quickly.
Please provide a complete and legible ACORD application and supplemental. Please do not leave any questions unanswered. If the question does not apply, please mark it as NA.
Clear and legible loss runs with an explanation of any losses including as much detail as possible.
Please provide any applicable additional information on the Applicant’s operations including any changes or new operations. Brochures and websites are also very helpful.
Please make sure that receipts, payrolls and sub-costs accurately reflect the Applicant’s estimates for the coming year. Please explain any significant increase or decrease from their current year.
Let us know if your Client has any special needs such as a contract requirement for a carrier to meet a minimum A.M. Best rating or a special coverage enhancement such as no subsidence exclusion, work done on condominiums, assault and battery coverage, waiver of subrogation or a specific additional insured form.
Submit early as the first application in to a market secures that market for quoting purposes. Blocked markets require a Broker of Record letter and there is usually a waiting period before a change of broker will be recognized by the carrier.
